Say Anything

A nice movie but not necessarily the right thing. At least Peter Gabriel got to belt out Red Rain for all to hear. But we will discuss music at a later time. Just wanted to get something on the page to start this dance. More later

Temporary

What is temporary? It might be easier to look at what is permenant or rather what is considered permenant. As humans, we only know our span of life and look back at history to fill in gaps. As infants, we go through stages. A stage is a temporary thing. As people, the changes our bodies go through are temporary. Growing up, youth, aging and growing old are all temporary.

What we do during that time is permenant. Our parents will always be our parents. The relationship will change and there will be many temporary times in that evolution. Our friends will always be our friends, even if we grow apart. The memory, the relationship is permenant, even if the moment is fleeting.

When you get married, it is til death do us part. That sounds very permenant. For some, it is only temporary. For some, it is a life time. Relationships evolve but even a bitter ending to a marriage had to start from something. Children are lasting and permenant. You have passed on you genetic material to the next generation. Although you watch them grow up and at every stage there is a temporary plateau that is danced on, they will always be your children.

I have started posting my thoughts. Each day is a temporary resting place until I am called to meet my Maker. I hope to make this a permenant part of my day.
